Shark fins on the menu, not?

Nice place to spend 2 hours milling around. You can purchase the $88 or $98 yearly pass from RWS or $38 for a single entry for adults. You can also purchase them online paying my card at $25 each, which is what I did. Make sense dosent it?

Anyway it was really really crowded on a Sunday which I don't like. You face eager tourists and over enthusiastic locals shoving into ever window trying to snap their best shots. Worse till, selfies, wefies and all sort of shots at the window displays. Either you love the crowd or you go on a weekday #peaceout

Hawker - Malaysian street food (Sydney)

Mamak in Sydney's cbd opened it's new sister stall Hawker selling Malaysian hawker fare along Sussex Street, haymarket (Chinatown) in December 2014.

It's neon orange sign can be seen visible from afar

The orange menu. It was disappointing on the day I went there, the fried stuff was all out due to a machine problem. It's been ongoing for many days for what I know. I really wanted my yew tiao!!

Well at least they had other alternatives like char Kway teow, white curry mee and the stingray etc

Open concept kitchen selling ham chin peng!

Many asian workers working furiously in the kitchen. The service aren't friendly at all. The young asian girl that served us pulled a long face and placing items loudly on the table #annoying #maybeshedontlikeservingasians

More pictures

To be honest, it does tastes quite delicious and according to my Malaysian friends, it was original. However, at aud $15 a pop, it was wayyyyy to expensive for its meagre portion if you ask me. I could get this for $3 a plate in Singapore or Malaysia at their local currency.

My friends had other dishes but I was as usual lazy to take a picture, the wan ton mee portion was again pitiful. I rather wait  for my cravings to be satisfied upon returning to Asia with abundance of local delicacies at reasonable prices.

Well the crowd that liked it's novelty and it's taste

Price 2/5
Service 1/5
Ambience 2/5
Food 3/5

What a pleasant surprise to have xmas decorated buses plying the roads of Sydney

There were a couple but this one really catches my eye and made my day.

Took this little beauty on Xmas eve to town.
