Sappho's at Glebe

It's a hot hot day in Sydney and glebe was theming with activities.

The glebe markets was theming with life and we have to check out one of the many cafés on the main road (Glebe point road)

It's not difficult to find this second hand bookstore along the Main Street.

Many hidden gems of books of all kind. Note the gay and lesbian themes :)

Even more books

Interesting stuff

And we found this little gem behind the bookstore. Sappho's cafe. We had to try it.

Even the toilets looked quite unique

Love the graffiti on the walls

With my beautiful companion

Painting amongst the graffiti

Food ordering time. They have all kinds of brekkie options. Cakes, wraps, big breakfast, eggs Benedict, salad etc. Maybe next time I'll try if I haven't had my meal. Tea and coffee for now.

More pictures on the cafe interiors

Nice and cosy indeed

Like this little corner and the menu. I really think this cafe supports the second hand bookstore in two storey old colonial shophouse. Business on second hand books wouldn't be that lucrative and this this cafe will be its main monetary support (just my guess), so do support his cafe.
